These Retired MWDs Are Home For The Holidays

This holiday season, four K-9 heroes will celebrate at home with their loving families, enjoying retirement after a lifetime of service. American Humane has facilitated the return of four military working dogs, reuniting them with their former handlers, and giving them the comfort and care they deserve in a forever home.
After bravely serving in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria, these retired military working dogs put their lives on the line protecting our troops
These brave dogs put their lives on the line protecting their fellow troops in some of the world’s harshest regions, including Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. Join us in honoring their courageous service to our country and celebrating their return home.

For a limited time, your tax-deductible gift to American Humane will be DOUBLED thanks to a special challenge grant. Your donation helps us reunite brave retired military dogs with their former handlers, provide K-9 heroes with the lifelong healthcare they deserve, rescue animals in floods, wildfires and other disasters, work tirelessly to stop unthinkable cruelty in puppy mills, and so much more.
