JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL & SENATOR TONY AVELLA AT OUR FUND RAISER
Next Monday evening September 9th -
Jane Velez 2We have only one week to go until our fund raiser. Please join with honored guests Jane Velez-Mitchell, of HLN's Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell and Senator Tony Avella, the sponsor of the historic bill to ban horse-drawn carriages at the Coalition's fund raiser to speak out for the carriage horses. Jane has been a very strong supporter of a ban on horse-drawn carriages, having addressed this issue several times on her TV news show Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell. Senator Tony Avella introduced the first ever bill to ban horse-drawn carriages in 2007 in the City Council. There is currently a bill in the State Senate to ban horse-drawn carriages. Without Tony, this issue would not have moved forward.
Our fund raiser will be held at:
·  Fontana's - 105 Eldridge St, Manhattan, NY 10002
·  WHEN: Monday night - September 9, 2013
·  TIME: 6:30pm to 9:30pm
We chose September 9th because it is the night before the all important mayoral primary and will also serve as a Get Out the Vote Rally for Bill deBlasio for Mayor. This is Jane Velez-Mitchell at one of our previous fund raisers.
